"We're like trees, you know?"
You were standing at the far side of the meadow, your voice being directed towards him by the Autumn wind; the grass surrounding you tugged at your clothes. Arthur walked over to you, hands at his sides, the sky's breath making them sway slightly at his sides. The sight was beautiful but the blowing air and lifts of dirt and dust was making him look ruffled which caused him annoyance which was shielded from bubbling to the surface because of your presence. You calmed him and he calmed you.
Him, being a gentlemen and wishing to keep your spirits up, sat besides you and smiled, turning his head to get a full view of your face. Your eyes were shining. "Are we?" His tone wasn't disbelieving but it wasn't quite humorous, holding more of an entertained note hidden in it somewhere.
You nodded, your hair blowing in front of your. "We grow taller," and as if to prove your point a leaf fell into your lap, nudging your hands which where placed in your lap. "We spread our branches," he was smiling now, knowing your poetic side was popping into view. It was a side you only showed to him. "And we grow more leaves."
"The leaves are connections? People? Right, love?" His hand was between the two of you, a bit closer to you, drifting to the ground beside your hip. You nodded your answer, your head in a haze from the proximity between you.
"What if I said I didn't need more people in my life? What if I only wanted you to love?"... He was... Was he confessing? Oh God, you needed air right now. Breath. In and out.... But what if this was like one of the phone calls you have received from a drunk France where he followed every 'je' taime' with a hiccup? This could be a game Arthur's own mind was tricking his mouth into playing...
"Arthur, did you get into Francis' wine agai-" Your words where swallowed by him as his tongue danced by your bottom lip. The warmth on your cheek was his hand, the other spout of heat on your hip was his left fingers gripping your clothing, the obvious feel on your lips were his being placed onto your own, and besides that, your senses went dull, but you knew the heat you two were creating, could never repeated in the same manner, with as much love and care, as it was now. And you abruptly remembered, between the taste of Arthur's alcohol free mouth, that you were near the lake.
With a puckered sound, Arthur released you momentarily to say I love you and pulled you back in as you whispered the words directly back into the mouth that had just said them.
You felt yourself start to slip slightly and your grip increased on Arthur, your arms tightening around his shoulders. The water thought from earlier came rushing back. You were both teetering on the edge of stable ground and flimsy water. Arthur wasn't sharing your thoughts or worry, too strongly involved in his joyful happiness at your acception.
With a splash both your bodies were drenched in seconds and you would have laughed if you foot had not scraped the body surface of the lake so roughly. Arthur heard your whimper of pain, carefully looping your limbs around his as to not cause further injury to his love. You legs lifted in the air on either side of him, you arms resting in the familiar spot of his shoulders, your head on his chest, following his heart beat.
You were drifting off slightly as he carried you home when he whispered,
"Don't let go. Don't ever let go."
You wouldn't, because you knew he wouldn't either.

England X Reader - Gentleman
You snuggled deeper into your overcoat as you headed toward the university. The crisp autumn atmosphere rolled all across England, meaning your evenings were now filled with hot chocolate and hearth fire.
And Arthur, of course, who you were on your way to see now.
Arthur really was the perfect boyfriend, a true gentleman straight out of a 19th century romance novel complete with perfect manners and the ability to dance.
Before you started to date, he actually called your father and asked his permission to "court" you. His chivalry wasn't forced or investing, it was simply in Arthur's nature: He was never rude to you, he was always consider

England x Reader: Tennis
"There you go, love, that's it!" Arthur called encouragingly as you served over to him. He returned the bright yellow ball with ease, and you scrambled to reach the far corner of the court where it landed. Using a backhand, you managed to hit it back- but unfortunately, your aim was quite off and the ball landed several feet out of the alley.
You set down your racket to mop sweat off of your forehead. When your school tennis coach had said a little bit of one-on-one training time might be in order, you had no idea she meant a private lesson with this cute, older, undeniably BRITISH boy you barely knew!
Of course, the fact that you barely kn

Chibirisu x Reader
"Achoo~" You sneezed and rubbed your bright red nose. You were completely lost in the deep dark woods, you had decided to run away from home as your parents had scolded you for not eating your veggies, for an 8 year old you found it unfair and mean that they made you do such a thing and thought it would be best if you ran away to teach them a lesson. Of course you only planned on running away for 5 minutes until you reached the lamppost at the end of your driveway but you wanted to be brave, so you ended up lost in the middle of the woods all alone with no food. You kept walking in hope you'd find the exit to this never ending nightmare. The
